Buick Skylark 1967 Description
This is an all original 1967 Buick Grand Sport GS 400 2 dr Coupe with AC option. I have owned it for a year or so and has been garaged all along in New Mexico. It has a pretty good paint job which matches the cowl plate as original "Platinum Mist" option which looks like a silver color. It has what looks like the original 400 C.I. motor with the "Star Wars" air cleaner cover. Has the original Automatic Turbo transmission which shifts "EXCELLENT"- shifts VERY smooth and clean all day long. Has a good all black vinyl interior, needs a few finishes inside such as one rear window trim piece, and touch ups here and there- not much at all to be in "perfect" condition. Might need to adjust windows slightly as they are manual, and possibly replace the windowsweather trim. Carpet and seat covers are like New. Has the original radio installed but non functional-may be the fuses, checking as we speak. Tires and rally wheels are in great condition. Paint is OK with just a little small bubbling here and there- Zero dents. Under carriage is in really good condition, found only one small rust hole patch job and thats it, the rest of undercarriage is rust free 98%. (Pictures of undercarriage on request). Engine compartment is clean and all original, nothing has been modified that I know of. All Drum brakes in good condition. Suspension is original heavy duty style, but feels completely smooth during all rides. Has rear adjustable air shocks to raise rear up/down as you like.Engine feels and "sounds" great with the dual exhaust. Purrrs like a cat during the ride. Good torque power and moves when you open it up (For a original 67 of course) . This is a nice little original hot rod. I have owned several Chevelles and I like this Buicks ride quality way better. I guess that why they called it the Gentleman Hot Rod, "Fast with Class".Will only deal with serious buyers. Don't bid if your not ready please.Thank you very much for considering this car, you won't be dissapointed...Feel free to ask any questions and I will be as honest as can be.Happy shopping!Email me for a lot more pictures
