First Generation 1971 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale. All original American Convertible. 44 year old classic! Very rare. There were 2800 first production Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale Convertibles made in 1971. The Royale was the first and only convertible that Oldsmobile ever made. According to the Oldsmobile National Historic Society for Cars. there are less than 140 of the 1971 Delta 88 Royale convertibles still on the road today. This vehicle comes with the original 455 Rocket V8 engine. which has 62k original miles. Cranks up on the first turn. Factory A/C compressor. which is in the car. working but not currently hooked up. Original 1971 factory rims. Original vinyl top. which goes back. Original Monarch Blue exterior paint job. Interior is a beautiful white. with no rips. Chrome around the car looks great.
