1971Mercury Cougar XR72 door coupe.

Equipmentincludes power steering, ower brakes, ir conditioning, utomatic transmission,am radio (works), 51 with 2 bbl carburetor.

This car isusable as-is, utwith some minorcosmetic improvements could make avery nice car. It is complete, ut needsa new vinyl top and new door panels. The dash pad is cracked so you may want to do something about it too. Very minimal amount of rust behind the passenger side wheel well. Has dings, ents, nd scrapes. Overall this is avery solid car. Trunk floor and floor pans seem good. Metal under vinyl top is good without any rust issues.

We recently had the following items replaced / maintenance performed on the car: new gas tank, uel pump,carb has beenrebuilt, ew plugs,fuel filter, rake rotors and pads,new headlight dimmer switch, ew battery tray, ew negative battery cable and part of positive cable (section from solonoid to battery), ew upper and lower radiator hoses, ndnew exterior door handle to replace the one that was broken on passenger door.

Brand new set of four black wall 14" tires have been installed and have only about 100 miles on them.

The turn signals work; however, he left signal must be turned on and off manually at the stalk (to make it blink) - sequencer does not work properly. The right side turn signal /sequencerworks fine. Horn is not working (actually, he horn itself works, ut there is someissue with the rim blow wheel - the horn works because it honks continuously when connected which is why it was disconnected, nd I've leftit that way).

We have taken many pictures of the Cougar but are limitedto the number we can include in the listing. So we do have more -please ask for others.

Wehave a clear title (in our names)and keys.

There is NO SHIPPING for this car unless you as buyer arrange for it via a third party shipper. This is a running and driving car, ut we have not personally driven it any distance so cannot guarantee its roadworthiness.

Buyer is responsible for all costs of delivery/pick up. Seller will cooperate as much as possible regarding pickup.

Please remember that your bid is a contract. $500 down payment due within 3 days of end of auction. (NO PayPal unless arranged in advance.) 50% of purchase price must be paid within 7 days of auction's end. Balance of payment is due within14days of the end of the auction - no exceptions. Time frame for removal is somewhat flexible, ut we'd like to have the car picked up within 30 days. (Please give us a couple days' notice before pickup.)

The car is for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
