Ford F-100 1972 Description
For sale is our excellent 1972 Ford F-100 Ranger. This truck has been owned by my father since 1984. The title is still one of the 1980 era pink slips. This is an original blue plate, California truck. The fifth generation (1966-1972) of the Ford F-Series was known as the last good, powerful "pre-smog" full size, full frame trucks on all of the models. Each year there were small improvements to suspension and gears, leaving the 1972 as the best of the 5th gen. Of the F-100 models there were a number of different trims: Camper, Contractor, Explorer and Ranger. The Ranger trim was the highest optioned, top trim level.
This is 1972 F-100 Ranger. It is a rare short bed. This truck has a 429 big block with roller rockers, and a freshly rebuilt and upgraded C6 transmission. The engine has a fresh tune up from a prior build and runs and drives great. The dual side exit exhaust sounds incredible. The interior is mostly original and in good shape apart from a small seem separation in the seat. The sale is as-is, with no warranty, expressed or implied and mileage exempt due to age. Overall, this is an excellent truck and will make a new owner very happy!
Being sold at NO RESERVE! Good luck, feel free to ask any questions you may have.
