Ford Mustang 1989 Description

When the garage door opened up and the previous owner of this vehicle slowly got in and turned the key, I knew my dad was going to buy it. The engine roared the way the sexy hot rods did just like when he was a kid. He was HOOKED.
He had been in search of a classic car for some time and this one fit the bill perfectly. The first time I rode in the car, I watched with wondrous eyes as the pony sped forward, each shift smooth and crisp. Being younger, I was amazed to experience a car that was older then me to have such power and torque. It was clear that my dad was experiencing some nostalgia driving this vehicle. I am not convinced it is a car at all; it is really a time machine that miraculously takes you back to a time in your life when things were more simple.
Unfortunately the previous owner of the vehicle had decals on the car that covered most all of the cosmetic imperfections the paint carries. I, nor my father, want to take advantage of anyone in the process of selling this vehicle. I want my buyer to know exactly what they are getting; a beautiful and strong car in need of some minor cosmetic work.
The underside of the vehicle is clearly displayed in the attached photos. You will find it in excellent condition. This was one of the many reasons why my father decided to purchase this car.
WHY HAS HE ASKED ME TO LIST IT FOR HIM???
A lot has changed for him in the past year. Between a promotion at work, building a chicken coop, and planning his next bee hive, the guy really does not have time for much else. He has thoroughly enjoyed the vehicle during his ownership spanning one year, but he is ready to transition to a car he does not have to work on. He drives a Buick to work and this vehicle on occasion. He does not have enough time anymore to simply pull the car out and give it the TLC we all know this car deserves.
We did not know the car had been in accidents when we purchased it because it does not drive like it. He was very surprised to discover this when he looked at the carfax report. At 77,000 miles and 26 years of age, this 1989 Mustang is a diamond in the rough. My hope is that the next owner of the vehicle helps it continue to stand the test of time.
THINGS HE HAS DONE TO VEHICLE:New ClutchNew batteryNew front shocks and brakesNew weatherstripping for doors and hatch (made interior of the vehicle much more quite while driving)New Door handles and Door lock actuatorsNew Spark plugsNew starter
The vehicle is all stock apart from the exhaust system which was installed professionally . Comes with two sets of tires and rims. I snapped a couple photos when the wheels were off as well.
I would love to answer any questions. If you would like to speak on the phone I am more than happy to do that as well.
