Ford Mustang 1993 Description

PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD BEFORE BIDDING
Up for sale is a very nice very rust free 1993 Mustang coupe(notch) that has had the 4.6L 3 valve from a 2007 Mustang GT swapped in. I did not build the car, ut I have most every receipt for its build.. It appears that no expense was spared. It is a very fun car to drive. It is very quick and gets 25MPG. Car was built to look like a stock 4cyl car. Something your Grandma may have driven. Included in the sale are the stuffed animals and tissue box on the package tray, obble headed dashboard dog(currently not on car), nd plate frame that says"Go Granny Go". The car has a faux single tail pipe with the real exhaust having dumps in front of the rear axle. Car was in a magazine. Several copies of the Magazine are included as well. Search "Mustang Narcolepsy" and you can find the article online
Car would be an easy Coyote swap!
Body
The body of this car started life out as a 4cyl coupe living most its life in California. This car is very solid with no rust. Underside if as rust free as top side. The car has all its original VIN tags on all panels except the hood. The hood had to be replaced with a 1.5" high Cervinis cowl hood to clear the 3 valve. The front bumper cover was repainted as well as the hood. Hood and bumper cover are not an exact match. The engine bay was smoothed and repainted. The rest of the paint on the car is original. Seeing as the paint is original there are some imperfections in the paint. There are some nick and dings in the paint. The car has new headlights with the Ford part numbers and Ford insignia. One tailight has piece missing. The other has blue overspay. Neither can be seen with the trunk closed. The LX badge is missing from the trunk lid. They are readily available from most Mustang suppliers.
To help reduce the cars weight somethings were removed from the car. The entire Heater system was removed from the car. The horn was removed as well as the windshield washer. Windshield wipers still function properly. There are cruise control buttons on the steering wheel, ut there are no other cruise control components Car weighs 2980lbs.
Interior
The interior of the car is all original. Being an original interior on a car with 93K miles there are some defects. There is a black spot on the instrument cluster surround. There has been a hole drilled in the shifter plate as well as a small LED light in the shifter plate The ash tray door is broken. It opens and closes but when closed will eventually open on its own. The radio was replaced with a factory radio delete plate. There is a mark on the radio delete plate. The rear seat has some fade. The carpet has a couple stains. cluster was swapped for a V8 cluster. Auto check shows a mileage discrepancy because of this.
Suspension
The suspension of the car is all Maximum Motorsports. It includes
Modular Motor foxbody swap tubular K-member
Tubular A arms
Front coil over kit with Bilstein struts
Standard length subfram connectors
Torque Arm
Pan hard bar
Lower rear control arms
Wheels and Tires
The car comes with 6 wheels and tires The car has 4 wheels that were professionally restored. 2 are on the front of the car. The other 2 have mostly worn drag radials mounted on them. They are not on the car. The rear 2 wheels came off a Florida car and are in very good condition with little to no corrosion, ut are not as nice as the other 4. The 4 tires on the car have very good tread. Car also comes with a full size spare if the buyer would like it. No jack or tire iron is included.
Brakes
The original 10 hole wheel needed to be retained for the sleeper vibe so 4 lug brakes that fit within a 15" wheel had to be retained. The fronts were upgraded to 87-93 GT brakes with slotted rotors and Hawks pads. Rear brakes are SSBC 4 lug disk brakes for foxbody with Hawks pads. The correct parking brake cables were installed to retain the parking brake function. A Maximum Motorsports manual brake conversion kit was used with there specific brake pedal. A 1993 Mustang Cobra master cylinder and an adjustable proportioning valve complete the brake system.
Drivetrain
The 4.6L 3 valve is a low mileage takeout from a 2007 Mustang GT. The 4.6L 3 valve engine had about 35,000 miles on it when it was swapped into this car. This car has had less than 5,000 miles since it was completed. It probably closer to 3,000 miles since it was completed. The only Changes to the motor are Steeda underdrive pullies. 3V to 2V exhaust adapters were used to facilitate Ford Motorsport shorty headers for a 2004 Mustang GT. A custom cold air kit was built for the car. Transmission is a freshly rebuilt T45 from Modern driveline. Car has a Mishimoto radiator and electric fans a Ford Motorsports control pack with electronic gas pedal was used to control the engine. When the drivetrain was swapped they must not have gotten the exact right speedo gear. The speedo reads between 5 and 10 MPH fast and bounces some.
Rear end is an 8.8 fitted with 3.55 gears and 31 spline axles. It also has a Trick Flow differential cover.
