The perfect street legal track day car. I am the original owner. Purchased new in April 1989 and have taken expert care of my Mustang for 26 years. Daily driver originally then complete overhaul of entire car in 2010 tocomparable American Iron Series Mustangs. The only original equipment left on car is floor pan and doors. Built for severe track duty. One of a kind Maier Racingwide body Fox Mustang. Super wide wheel/tire combo. 315/30/18 tires at all four corners! Looks like no other Mustang I have ever seen. The naturally aspirated"big bore" 347 cubic inch motor pulls hard to 6,500 rpm with an engine and exhaust note that gives this car quite a presence. As a group 3 driver, y Mustang got around the track as quickly or quicker than any exotic European or domestic sports car. Still streetable but at home on open road race track. Body

Maier Racing front and rear 3" fiberglass fenders. Front fenders are complete unit with Cobra badges and rear fenders are expertly blended into rear quarter panel for muscular look and also to accommodate massive wheel/tire combination

Engine

1.Ford Racing Boss block with 4 bolt mains, ored to 4.125" and stroked to 3.25". A 347 cubic inch “big bore” motor. Preferable rod to stroke ratio than standard 347 stroker. Great power band that keeps on pulling when coming out of bends.

2.Diamond custom aluminum pistons with graphite coated side skirts to minimize friction and heat

8.Fox Lake Racing custom CNC ported Edelbrock heads with stainless steel Manley valves and dual high rev springs and titanium retainers, ecured with ARP rocker studs and guide plates. Flows 300 cfm of air at .600 lift. Secured with Cometic head gaskets

9.Comp Ultra gold aluminum roller rockers. Light and strong.

10.Holley Systemax EFI upper intake manifold with Fox Lake stage 2 porting for much increased air flow

16.Griffin high performance 2" aluminum radiator with custom shroud and dual fans with built in oil cooler, anually operated from cockpit and filled with BeCool coolant. Massive air cooling. Can run fans with engine off between lap sessions to cool motor

1.Tremec T-56 "Viper Spec" 6 speed manual transmission. Upgraded bronze fork pads for heavy duty use. SFI approved steel bellhousing. Built by D@D performance with reverse lockout for track use. Reverse lockout controlled from cockpit.
