Ford Model T 1925 Description

Model T Roadster - Ready for Summer Fun!

This is agreat little car with a very strong drivetrain, uns and drives wonderfully - good not only for parades but also just running around, oing fishing, rives with the grandkids. If you're looking for an inexpensive hobby car that doesn't need anything to start enjoying right away, his is a great deal. If you want a car to actually use and drive, ather than only show and store, hen this is the one for you.

Tons of recent work done, oo much to mention, ut includes - new upholstery, loorboards/mat, lass, plugs, iring, attery, tarter, oses, as tank, ires, ubes. Beautifully refinished wheels. Tight front end, ood clutches, trong motor starts instantly and stays cool even when pulling grades. The rings have been replaced and the cylinders honed. Good charging system and recently rebuilt electric starter. The light body makes this Model T the one to have if you want to actually drive your car and enjoy it. Comes with a set of reproduction top bows ($800 value) that I got with the car. Ididn't put a top on because who drives one of these with the top up?Comes with the desirable Model T features of a water pump, lectric starter and headlights, nd generator (not all have these).

I bought this car about two years ago from a man who inherited it as an unfinished restoration project from his dad who had died of cancer in California. It came with almost all the reproduction parts to finish the project, ut had suffered while sitting outside under a tarp at the son's house. The main deterioration was with the paint/bodywork, hich I would describe as amateurish - I have touched it up/buffed it out as best as I can, nd it's now shiny, lean and presentable, ut still has many flaws which I want the new owner to be aware of. The most serious of these are shown in the last four photos, nd include some rust coming through at the lowest points of the body, ome flaked-off paint (since touched up), laking on one area of the hood (I'll leave that to the new owner to either leave alone or touch up himself), uns in the paint in places, tc. Bottom line: if you can tolerate some cosmetic imperfections, his is a great little car at a great price that needs nothing to enjoy immediately. Do not buy this car if you plan on nitpicking the body/paint - I'm being as honest about its condition and, f it were perfect, would be asking thousands more.

The car was titled as a 1919 in California, hich placed a CA VIN tag on the frame. I'm listing the car as a 1925 because it obviously has a 1923-25 body, ut the title will say "1919". All potential buyers are welcome and encouraged to see and drive the car in person before bidding. This vehicle is sold "as-is" and "where-is" and absolutely no warrantees are made concerning it or its condition, ither expressed or implied. I have done my best to represent it accurately, ncluding its flaws. It is overall a great little Model T and I'm sure will provide much enjoyment for the new owner.
