Ford Mustang 1992 Description
I'm selling my one owner 1992 mustang coupe. I bought the mustang new on August 12th of 1992 and as to date only has 12,342 miles. This car has never been wrecked or driven in snow. This car has always been garaged and covered with a car cover. If you missed your opportunity to own one of this when you were in your twenties now is your chance to have that ONE that got away. This car is perfect in every way. It's damn near show room stock except for some tasteful upgrades that only add value to this timeless body style. The a/c still retains the factory r-12 and still blows ice cold. The paint on this car is an 9.9 out of a 10. You won't find any rock chips on the side of the car and only 3 specks in the front of the hood. ( less then the size of a ball point pen). For more pictures go to Dropbox.com and use linshop@charter.net for the user name and nvmy50 for the password. There are 135 pictures and a video of the car running and a walk around. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call me at 314-412-3532 or email me at linshop@charter.net/font>
Body: Body colored door handles, windshield and rear window trim, cowl and antenna,
And door belt moldings. Painted to match feature car rear spoiler.
Chassis: Mac sub-frame connectors, oxed upper arms and Mac lower arms, ibach 1" lowering springs
Cooling: Aluminum radiator, electric fan and gates silicon hoses
Wheels/tires: 17" 5-lug pony wheels. 17x8 fronts with nitto 245/45/17 and 17x10 rears with nitto 275/40/17 (less than 50 miles)
Interior: I had the original gray material replaced with spruce green tweed with the original stitch pattern put back on the seats and had silver
ponys stitched in the headrest and back seats.
Exhaust: Ceramic coated Mac long tube headers and Mac Pro chamber with chrome tail pipes. All 2 1/2".
Engine: Completely stock long block. This engine has never been apart except the painting of the valve covers ( body color) and the upper
Intake being polished and nickel plated. The Paxton supercharger is the period correct ball bearing style that puts a mild 5-6 psi and
340 hp. car still retains the stock 19lbs injectors but I did upgrade the throttle body to a 70 mm and a 255gph fuel pump and an
adjustable fuel pressure regulator.
Transmission: Totally stock t-5 and stock clutch. Car was never abused to upgrade. No chatter and shifts like the day it left the factory.
I did upgrade the shifter to a hurst unit for a more positive feel.
Rearend: Replaced the stock 3.08 to Motorsport 3.73 gears and upgraded the rear axles to Motorsport 5 lug axles.
Brakes: Stock brakes at all 4 corners with Motorsport 5 lug rotors and drums
