Ford Mustang 1965 Description

This is a well taken care of original Fastback GT!. It has been in our family since 1976, we are the second owners. I have that bill of sale from 1976. It had a restoration in 2008 to include painting and engine rebuild. This was at 89,722 miles. Description includes original:- A code 289 C.I. engine- Autolite 4100 4 barrel carburetor (Concourse Restoration by Pony Carburetors of Las Cruces, NM)- Borg Warner T10 4 speed transmission (professional rebuild less than 250 miles ago)- 3.00 differential- starter & alternator (professional rebuild conducted)- radiator (professional 3 core rebuild)- original glass all around
The interior is original except for carpet, drivers seat bottom, and the added Rally Pac. The original AM radio works! Includes original Mustang brochure, owners manual, and heater operation guide. After market installations include: new maintenance free Restoration battery, Petronix ignition (no points), solid state regulator (have original), Coker classic style wheels & Goodrich radial Red Line tires, Magnaflow dual exhaust to trumpet tips, Comp Cam roller rockers installed to reduce wear, urethane bushings and KYB shocks installed, front end alignment, total brake job. I just had the 4 speed transmission rebuilt and a new drive shaft made for the car less that 250 miles ago. Also, when I replaced the carpeting,I have most of the documentation for the work/parts installed. I want to mention, at restoration there was some rust spots on each side of the front fenders near the MUSTANG letters. I had the body shop replace that area of the fender with new metal and they did a great job.
I've tried to keep this car as original as possible. This is a solid Fastback GT, won't see many like it. It mostly sits in our garage and goes out for car shows & weekend rides. Runs great! NOT DRIVEN IN WINTER!! NADA Guide Pricing:Original MSRP
