Ford F-350 1978 Description
Up for auction is my 1978 Ford F350 Super Cab truck with an 8' bed (which is really great to have). It's an ORIGINAL PAINT, RUST FREE truck that came from Utah. The tool box under the bed is even rust free! If you are into a great running truck with a patina look to it then this is the truck for you. The 62,000 mile truck is powered by a Ford 460 with an edelbrock 4 barrel intake and Ford DOVE heads. Plenty of power and it sounds great with the flowmaster exhaust. Stepping into the cab is a flashback to the 1970's. This interior is in incredible condition! Take a look at the photos. All the gauges and lights work as they should. I'm not sure if anyone has ever sat in the back seat. The undercarriage on this is evidence that the truck has never seen salt. It is super solid, you won't be disappointed. Full disclosure... The driver side door needs a new rubber seal. It's original and worn. The power steering pump leaks. I have a new one but never installed it. It goes with the sale. The AC is all there but the previous owner disconnected it. It has a new starter which I installed this past summer. With the electronic ignition, it fires up quickly! The suspension is tight and tracks down the road as it should. I believe one of the valve covers is leaking oil but it DOESN'T burn any oil. No smoke out of the exhaust at start up, while running or even after it has been sitting for an extended time. The only reason that I'm selling is because I need a truck that I'm not afraid to drive in the salt. I couldn't get myself to drive it in the salt. Please ask questions before you bid. It is honest truck that is enjoyable to drive. For me, I bought it because it has original paint with no rust. Clear title in hand. I will consider offers and have the right to end the auction early as it is for sale locally. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost. A $1000 deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction end. Thanks for bidding!
