1965 Stingray Convertible
1965 Corvette Convertible code correct Nassau Blue with White/Blue Interior, White Soft Top, All Matching Numbers drivetrain (engine, transmission, rear end) L76 327-365HP, Close ratio four speed, Posi Rear End (4:11), AM/FM Radio, Tinted Windshield, Knock Off Wheels (Repro), New Coker Firestone white wall tires, Telescopic steering wheel, GM off road exhaust mufflers. Excellent body, chassis detail and frame. Originally assembled on November 13, 1964. Comes with a ton of documentation, including its original Protectoplate and full glove box pack with original owners manual, original keys and dealer keychain. Car runs and drives as new, great color combination. Strong Second Flight at 2015 Quebec chapter meet. This was the cover car of the Spring 1984 issue of Corvette News, which documents the restoration. Three issues of this issue will come with the car. Furthermore, this one was just seven Corvettes chosen by GM to display during its 75th auto expo anniversary, which was held in September 1983. Engine bay is very well detailed with many NOS GM parts. Detailed chassis with correct inspection markings, restored & dated Delco shocks on all four corners, shim markings etc. Interior shows new with impeccable seat covers, correct loop carpet in good condition and GM seat belts. Good condition door panels, dash pads and center console. Clock does not work. Convertible top is recent, and is in very good condition with a very good condition window with no thin spots. With the exception of the windshield, the glass on the car is correctly dated. Restored GM electric antenna. The chrome bumpers are in very good condition. Weather stripping is brand new, and in very good to excellent condition.The numbers matching engine shows the original casting date of November 5, 1964. Correct intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, valve covers, correct datedcarburator, air cleaner, hoses and ignition are all in place. Frame is clean solid and rust free.Records since 1982 are included as well.All instrument gauges and lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear end are in good operating condition.
