Chevrolet Corvette 1965 Description
1965 corvette 327 365HP with AC and convertible. From my research it looks like 133ish of these were produced. Please do not bid unless you plan on buying this car. I've never sold a car on ebay and was burned on my first one (1966 Corvette)that I sold last Friday. Still waiting to hear from the buyer after 48 hours. Feel free to email me via ebay or call my cell (713-805-3962) if you have any questions. I'm traveling for work through Thursday of this week, so please leave a message if I can't answer and I'll call you back. I've owned this car since the early 2000's and its been off the road since 1980ish. This was a complete car (running and driving) before parked in 1980. I gutted the interior and some of the front end (Core support, radiator, condenser & headlights)stuff. Everything is boxed up and on the shelves in my shop. The steel wheels and 65 hubcaps will come with it. The knock offs(aftermarket) or Cragers are not included. This includes a correct dated block with correct broch marks and stamping on the pad. It currently has a 1968 CE (Chevrolet Exchange) block in the car. It does have the correct 461 heads, intake and alternator. The exhaust manifolds and carburetor are not correct. It will require a complete restoration and the bird cage is rusted (see pics) along with the frame section (and splash shield)below the battery (see pic). This is the only area of the frame with rot along with the bottom channel of the core support. the rest of it has surface rust that formed under some type of undercoating at an earlier time in it's life. Most of the undercoating is peeling off the frame. We've gone over this car very closely andcan't see where any panels have been off the car. I'm including a donor cowl section that has a rust free bird cage. Car has the correct vin tag (never removed)and the original color is Marlboro Maroon. This car is for sale locally (no international sales)as well. I will accept a $500 deposit via Paypal, but the balance (wire transfer or other accepted bank payment) must be paid within 7 days and buyer is responsible for shipping. Thank you, JimOn Sep-29-16 at 20:16:38 PDT, seller added the following information:I added a few pictures to include the vin tag along with a shot of the battery access door on the back side of the drivers wheel well. This is what's on all AC cars. Thanks, Jim
