Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1963 Description
This is a genuine Lambrecht Chevrolet Trade In. Very few survived, even less were structurally sound enough to be brought back to life. This has been a labor of love andI have over fifteen thousand invested in parts and labor. But someone had to put one of these cars back on the road right?
What has been done?
All structural rust repaired to make it safe. Brand new suspension including control arms, bushings, ball joints, shocks, nuts and bolts all around. Rebuilt, resealed and restored original 283 drivetrain. New stock fuel system including all hard fuel lines, tank, pump and rebuiltcarburetor. Brand new brake system including all lines, drums and complete power disc brake upgrade. Brand new 15” stock steel wheels and upgraded radial white wall tires. No clear, no fauxtina everything else on this car has been left as it was in 1965.
The interior is cleaned and new carpet was installed. The door panels, headliner and seats are still damaged but you can choose whether to replace. Only rust “holes” are behind the LH rear 1/4 trim (which is missing),some in the trunk and some on the inside of the doors. This is not a rust free car but thats the point. Tubular control arms were used because I was going to lower the car. I didn't so if you want to keep the car stock height as shown I would suggest replacing them with stock so you can get the proper alignment. All work was done by a local shop. You can jump in the car and go, it doesn’t “need” anything. You can call and we can talk about the car 602.402.1422.
What else makes this special:
This BelAir was purchased new from Lambrecht Chevrolet in October 62, then traded back to the dealer in 65 where it stayed untouched until I opened the doors for the first time in 2013. Everything was as it was left by the original owner, including the “cat eye” sun glasses left under the passenger seat. The original owner sent me a letter including a picture of her and her husband in the 60’s which along with the Lambrecht documentation and original title go with the car!
Original title is signed over to me and notorized. I will include a power of attorney with that titleso you can decide how to title the car. If I have it titled in AZ then we lose the original document. That’s your choice.
I will accept PayPal for the entire purchase of the car. I will make sure the car gets on the shippers truckand work around their schedule. Iam easy to deal with but if your awhiner or drama queen your out.
Thanks for looking!
