Chevrolet Other Pickups 1941 Description

This beautiful custom truck has a brand new speedometer with only 700 miles since it was installed. The actual mileage is unknown. The truck includes a customized steel grill and a smoothed body with all the seams in the fenders filled and shaved the door handles. At the back end of the truck. the bed was smoothed and shortened six inches to make it look wider at the rear. A new wood kit also was installed and a custom gas tank was placed underneath. The tailgate was smoothed and filled to fit flush with the bed rails. while a rear roll pan with custom Bow Tie taillights was added with a frenched license plate. The body is painted with yellow PPG Deltron paint. You might already have noticed that the hood also was cut. The bottom was molded in with front fenders and a completely missing top exposes the 4. 3-liter V-6 equipped with a 4-71 GM supercharger. The engine was bored . 060 over and utilizes aluminum connecting rods. Manley 8. 5:1 compression pistons and a BDS supercharger profile camshaft. An HEI ignition system fires the engine. while a single 500 cfm Edelbrock carburetor feeds it. A set of Sanderson exhaust manifolds guides the exhaust through HPC-coated. 2-1/2-inch-diameter tubing. Behind the engine is a TH350 automatic operated by a Genie shifter. It uses a B&G torque converter with a 2. 00-rpm stall speed. The doors can be opened from the outside with a newly-installed. remote-controlled door popper system. The truck chassis was upgraded with an early Camaro front clip. using a tilt column from a GM van to operate the Camaro steering box. Although Camaro disc brakes are used. they are actuated by a Mustang power booster and pedal assembly. The rear suspension consists of a swing arm style system that utilizes a Panhard rod and coilover shocks. The system works great and provides plenty of traction to the Ford nine-inch rear. outfitted with 3. 90 gears and 15x6 Cragar wheels mounted on 195-75R15 tires. Inside are a set of seats from an Astro van that was reupholstered in red tweed. The dashboard was also handmade and includes a set of VDO gauges.
