Chevrolet C-10 1972 Description
1972 Chevy Cheyenne C-10
First of all I am listing this truck for a friend of mine. All questions and offers should be directed to him. That being said I am a car guy and have built and worked on many cars myself. I have personally seen and driven this truck and will attempt to describe it to the best of my ability.
This truck is a very nice blend of originality and modern technology. With it's LS6.0 engine and 700r4 tranny it brings later model technology and reliability to the drive train. Obviously this is controlled by a later model computer and fuel injection. It has been upgraded with a 20 gallon fuel cell and fuel pump in the tank. This truck has tubular A frames and has been lowered 3" in front with drop spindles and 4" in rear with drop springs with the CPP lowering kit. There are aftermarket disc brakes in the front with drums in the rear. It does have it's original tilt wheel and gauges. It has just received vintage air and heat of which both work as they should. Also recently there has been new trailing arms and bushings. This truck drives and performs as you would expect it to. There are no funny noises or surprises.
The paint on this truck is very nice and was obviously professionally applied. There are very few if any imperfections and has been sanded and buffed to a brilliant shine. When looking down the sides there are no waves to speak of and the body gaps and alignments are very nice. The tires are like new and they are mounted with 20's in the rear and 18's up front. The underneath is also very clean with a flat black finish and undercoating.
All in all this is a very nice truck which is ready to be driven and enjoyed. It has a nice blend of new and old and should provide the next owner with years of reliable use. That being said it is 44 years old and no warranties have been written expressed or implied. While shipping is responsibility of purchaser every effort will be done to assist. Pre inspections are strongly recommend and vehicle will made easily accessible to do so. Truck will not be released until all monies have cleared. All questions or offers should be to John at 636 456 8817
