Chevrolet Corvette 1964 Description

Nice driver with freshly rebuilt engine. Older paint is showing it's age. Looks great from a few feet away but close inspection shows chips light scratches touch ups etc. Bumpers look real nice. Some of the chrome trim shows light to moderate pitting. Interior is nice - no rips or tears. Convertible top is in fair condition. Rear window is coming loose from the canvas top.Engine numbers do not match but I do have the original numbers matching block that goes with the car if the buyer wants it. The original block has been sleeved so I decided to replace it when the rebuild was done. The original block has4105071 FOI04RE stamped on the front pad (365hp L76)Engine:Fresh Rebuild - 0 milesBlock Casting# 3782870 (correct for L76)Hydraulic Cam L79L76 3844461 Intake Manifold2818-1 Holley CarburatorL76 Hi Performance Trap Door Oil PanTach Drive distributorNew L76 Air CleanerNew L76 Breather SetupNew:Ball JointsControl Arm BushingsFront ShocksFront and Rear BrakesHeadlight motors work fine. High Lo beams tail lights brake lights turn signals all work (turn signal switch needs to be adjusted or replaced it works most of the time). Gas gauge also seems to work most of the time but I have seen it get stuck on E.The tach was working but it quit. Speedo temp oil and other gauges work fine. The clock even runs but does not seem to be keeping accurate time. Aftermarket radio works - sounds pretty good. Custom fit so dash was not cut. Original AM radio will go with the car (I don't know if it works)The engine starts and runs great. Smooth and powerful with a mellow rumble from the side pipes. Transmission shifts fine. Shift linkage may need a little adjusting (reverse takes a little coaxing). The car drives fine down the road but will need an alignment. Steering feels too light for a manual steering car. The alignment should be done before the car is driven very far.Tires have a lot of tread but are very old.In summary it's an honest driver that has a few issues (described above). If you are looking for all original numbers matching zero defects and show paint you should look elsewhere. If you don't mind fixing a few things you will have a nice reliable driver at a good price.Bid with confidence - I have been selling cars trucks boats motorcycles and high end guitars on ebay for over 15 years with 100% positive feedback on every sale.
