Willys overland 1951 Description
Up for bid is a 1951 Willys pickup truck, I think it is pretty much origina, but not sure, I was going to fix it u, but got too much else to do, I had it started a couple of years ago, was going to convert it to 12 volt, I think I have the original 6 volt generator somewher, it will go with the truck if I find i, also the rims on the back are differen, but I have 2 original willys rims that will also go with it, it has the usual rust of a vehicle this old, 65 years, we live in the high desert so things don't rust very bad,, it is mostly surface rust, no deeppitting, als, fenders have some brazin, welding, etc, and a place or two by the door, I am not sure on the mileage, I just put down what the speedometer reads, the floorboards are not rusted throug, one spot on the passengers side is rusted through about an inch or s, and there has been a little piece brazed or welded by the gas feed pedal, about 2x4 inches, the doorsare not rusted through in the bottom,I know nothing about the trann, etc, but it seems to shift alright, I also have a bumper brace somewhere if I can find it, if so, it goes with the truck, I am selling as i, so if you want to ask any questions feel free to ask, this will be a nice one to restore, the grill isn't bent up either, thanks for lookin, this will have to be picked up on a trailer, or if you want it shipped you will have to pay all charges, I have described this to the best of my ability, I am no expert, so before you bid if you don't understand something, please ask questions, and I will answer them to the best of my ability, thanks again
