Jeep CJ 1954 Description

We are offering for sale acompletely restored 1954 CJ3B Willys Jeep. It has just had an extensive frame off restoration. Nothing was left untouched. It is 100% original and rust free. Full photo documentation of the restorationfrom start to finish will be included with the Jeep.It has all the sheet metal that it was born with. No reproduction body parts. The body was completely stripped down and all the rust removed.It has been painted with PPG Acrylic Urethaneinit's original color Bristol Red. The frame has beenmedia blasted and painted satin black. The suspension is 100% new including springs, hocks, bolts, ushings, nd shackles.The engine has been completely rebuilt. All the machine work has been done by a professional machine shop. It has been bored .030 over with new pistons and rings. The head and block have been resurfaced. All the valves have been reground and new guides installed. The crank was polishedand new rod and main bearings installed. The connecting rods were also resized. A new camshaft and bearingwere installed with reground lifters. The flywheel was regroundand a new clutch set installed.The carb was rebuilt and a new fueland water pump installed. The transmission and transfer case were rebuilt with all new bearings, nd gear and intermediate shaft. The front and rear axles have been rebuilt with new bearings and seals throughout. The drive shafts have new u joints and slip yoke seals. The brake systemis allnew including anew master cylinder, heel cylinders, hoes, oses, rake switch, nd all new steel lines. The original brake drums were turned. The parking brake has new shoes and cable.The front axle has a set of Warn locking hubs.The electrical system is 6 volt andhas been converted to a 63 amp 6 volt alternator for a very reliable charging system. No more dead batteries anddim head lights. The wiring harness is a reproduction of the original cloth wrapped wire from Walck's 4 Wheel Drive. It is the best Jeep wireharness you can buy. The starter has anew drive and bushings. The original speedometer was restored and set back to zero and has a new cable. All the other gauges are new. The fuel system is all new including the tank, ender, ump and steel lines. The fuel pump alsohas a vacuumpump on it that runs the windshield wiper. ThisJeep has a fewfactory options you rarely find them with anymore. It has the original Harrison heater, riginal factory turn signal switch, nd original windshield wipers. It has a vacuum wiper on the drivers side and hand wiper on the passenger side. The windshieldglass and sealare new.The upholstery is all new grey vinylincluding the rear seat.It has the 15 inch wheel option with 5 new Firestone ndcc military tires and tubes. The wheels have beenzincprimed and powder coated in the same color as the body. The pin stripe on the wheels and all the body lettering is painted in Universal BeigePPG urethane. As you have read therehas beennothing left untouched.
