1962 STUDEBAKER LARK SEDAN V8



I am pleased to offer this original 65000 mile 1962 Studebaker Lark V8 Sedan with an automatic transmission. Before I go into any details about this remarkable Studebaker I want to tell you first how much fun this old car is to drive. It has amazing performance and will go down any road with ease. The V8 makes a real sleeper out of it. The originality of the Lark is amazing. The paint which I think is mostly original has a great patina to it and I would not do anything to it other than keep it clean. The bumpers are original and have some light pitting in areas and it does have the guards. The stainless trim is excellent and even the grill is remarkably nice. All of the glass is excellent and there are no exterior parts that need to be replaced. The interior is beautiful. The dash is bright and issue free. All of the gauges work and there is a unique radio delete plate. The door panels, floor carpet, package shelf etc. are all beautiful. The seat covers look to be too perfect to be original. The only fault is the wind lace needs to be replaced. As stated earlier the Studebaker drives great and the previous stated that he had just completed a 400 mile trip prior to selling it to me. He also stated the miles are correct but had no paper trail. I will say that it certainly looks and acts like a low mileage car. There you have it. Probably this Lark will be the most fun of any car that you have ever had. Oh one last thing, the trunk lock turns but the lid will not release so I have no idea what is in there. KY bidders will add 6% usage tax and $199 transfer/doc fees. Out of state residents will add $128 to cover title fees, mailing costs, temporary tags, etc. Contact to be made by winning bidder within business 24 hours and a minimum partial payment to be made within 72 hours of auction end. The partial payment is non-refundable, unless we fail to deliver the goods as described. Balance will be due within 7 business days of the close of the auction. Any exceptions to be worked out before the completion of the sale. Auctions ending on a Friday or holiday will be addressed the follow business day. We will be happy to assist the new owner in arranging transportation from our nearby airport, Lexington Bluegrass Field, at no extra charge.
