Pontiac Tempest 1965 Description

The picture with the turquoise border is the original Tempest look. You can see the car is mid-stream into a GTO conversion and desire to return to original paintof Yellow-Maize color.

1965 Pontiac Tempest automatic 326 8 cylinder original. Power steering. 79,752 original miles.

This Pontiac Tempest has great potential and will look superwhen done right.

Body work and primer has been done butwill need wetsanding.

The original color of Yellow Maize is an incredible pastel type yellow and will look super going down the road.

It still needs wet sanding and painting. You can paint it what ever color you want.

I have the GTO badges and pieces to make it into a GTO Clone.

The engine sounds really good. I have been driving it around the parking lotand down my street but it has not been driven long distancedue to no license plates.

I was hoping to put this together and paint it all but I got in over my head.

Yes - I have the inside door panels, hrome bumbers- -very very good condition, TO floor shift panel and glove box cover - newly re-chromed. The tail light enclosure has been re-chromed.

Yes -I have the chrome trim for the doors and as far as I know I have it all.

I do not have original Tempest hood but these can be found for under $100. I have the GTO hood.

I took it for a spin down my street and the engine sounds good with no knocks.
