This Fiero is a very presentable used car. It does need some mechanical work in order to return to running order. While we truly believe that no major work is necessary for it to be driveable, we can offer no warranties and the car is listed here AS IS.

Winning bidder on previous auction backed out of sale citing paint on vehicle would need greater attention than he originally thought. Original auction listing was honest and clear about substantial paint wear, especially on top surfaces of the car. We feel it is very important to portray this vehicle's condition as honestly and accurately as possible. If you have any questions, we will be happy to answer them.This car has sentimental meaning for the sellers and we would like it to go to an appreciative home.

Second and third auctions were won by new eBayers who did not read the listing before bidding and eventually reneged. Unfortunately, to avoid eBay charges for a "successful" eBay auction, we filed non-paying buyers reports. This was a reluctant but necessary action.

This auction is for a Candy Apple Red 1988 Pontiac Fiero Automatic 2-door 2-seater Coupe purchased used in 1996 from the second owner.It was driven for 12 years accident free.After primary driver left California for grad school, car was driven only sporadically.Daily operation was not possible and it eventually was not driven.The car has been sitting, both covered and uncovered, since late 2008.

Mileage:112,654 original miles

Interior:Upholstery primarily in good to excellent condition.Driver’s side upper seat has tear and lower seat has visible wear on side.Passenger seat upholstery in excellent condition as is all dashboard material and vinyl.

Mechanical:4 cylinder automatic.Was running when parked.Has not been driven, but engine is free.Needs complete overhaul, battery and tires, thorough cleaning and detailing. Please see photos of the engine to assess condition.

Registration: Currently registered "Non Op" (Non Operating) and is not street legal.

When originally purchased, major overhaul and extensive replacement of all rubber were undertaken.Regular maintenance was continued until stored.All maintenance records are included for reference.

The auction also includes a Haynes repair manual in fair condition and the original owner’s manual.

This car has not been in an accident while in current ownership, but was backed into while parked.All repairs were completed by at fault driver’s insurance.
