Pontiac GTO 1967 Description
I am selling my 1967 GTO Convertible, t is a project car and I have probably 95% of the parts, ith most including new OPG parts. Including the complete interior in gold, ew seats (front) seat covers for the rear, oor panels, ront and rear (10 thousand dollars in parts), have three automatic transmissions one is the original turbo 400, he other is a new trans from California Performance bought through OPG, he other tranny came with the 1970 400 (1969 62 heads) and the transmission is original to the motor which is included. The car is originally gold with gold interior and black top. I have a rear section that has to be welded I am assuming because of rust issues it was removed and the metal that was welded onto the tail piece was cut off. I have the floors welded in (there is other parts that will need welding, heel wells ( I have those too). The frame was sanded and painted and is solid. I have it painted and added new front suspension parts (all of them), wheel disc brakes, ubular upper and lower control arms, ll new springs installed and control arm bushings. This is a non posi, ow option car, t came with a console which is in excellent condition.I have the convertible top frame disassemble, sand blasted and painted, will aslo include my spare top frame so you can see how it goes together.I have all of the molding and most of the trim. 2 new doors, ew vent windows. This is my 3rd GTO I am restoring, nd well. I am just not into it any more. I am going with a Viper. I am retiring and down sizing my projects to ZERO. I will include all the parts I have including the rebuilt 1970 YS 400 (rebuilt by the shop who built both my other engines). If you need more pictures ask and I will get them for you. Oh, he engine has about 4thousand miles since rebuild. I think thetrunk lidcan be saved, enders should be replaced. Trunk lid has a piece underneath that is rusted away. The whole trunk lip is shot so that's why I got the rear clip, ust weld in the complete tail section (from a Lemans) then cut out the tail section and weld in the one I have for the GTO tail lights. Make no mistake, his is not a project for a weekend every month and get done in a year. It can be done in a year, ut rest assured, o mere weekend a month will do it. I will be putting the body back on the frame, t isn't easy jacking the car frame up to the body .
