Pontiac Firebird 1984 Description
Edited: With the options this car has NADA has it at around $15K on the top end and that does not include all of the new stuff in the engine, rakes, ires, uff, tc.===========
I am really picky on my ebay ads and mention everything in the Item description so here goes. Any questions please ask. Need more pictures let me know.
---------------------
This is a really nice Trans am and is a top of the line model. It has options that you do not see on the other TA's on here. It has the 305 High Output engine, speed, reo package (rare combo) T tops. A/C. P/S. P/W, /B. This car RUNS like a hot rod, OUNDS like hot rod, orners like a hot rod, ust a really cool car that hauls ass.
Exterior. Paint has just been buffed. Shows some slight buff marks, would take it and have it rebuffed if you are going to use this as a show car. If not, hen I would not mess with it. Also I just had a total brand new decal kit put on it, ll of the stripes on the bottom, he firebird sticker on the hood, .0 decals on the hood, rans am on the fenders, irebird on the fenders, nd the Trans am on the rear bumper. It looks GREAT and is a real head turner. The nose (pictured) has some lines in it I assume someone before me bumped into something with it. So for being over 30 years old not to bad.
Interior. Very nice. Drivers seat has a few holes in it where the springs came thru (pictured). Besides that all of the cloth and seats look new. Dash looks brand new. Door panels look brand new. Headliner has a patch of glue on it where I tried to glue it and messed up. Also there is a small plastic piece that needs to be replaced where the seat belt connects to the rooftop (email me if you want a picture I ran out of room on ebay pics, his is probably a $10 piece to replace). Overall really really impressive interior.
Engine. Great shape and runs strong, ounds like a beast! This was my friends car and it sat so I had to do some work on it to get it up to snuff. NEW: Battery, lternator, uel pump, atalytic converter (California specs so will pass any state) newly rebuilt smog pump, ll new belts, ULL tune up, ll new fluids, ew brakes, ires look to have less then 2000 miles on them (front tires still have numbs on them), arburetor has been fully rebuilt by a hot rod shop in Chico, A (cost was over $1,000, hey did a gorgeous job, nd it is the original carb).
Last. The left rear rim has scuffs from someone hitting a curb (pictured) (the other three rims are perfect.). The window washer pump needs replaced ($20-30). Some small trim screws missing from the interior. That is all I can think of that hasn't been mentioned above.
