Pontiac Grand Prix 1976 Description
1976 Pontiac Grand Prix 50th Golden Anniversary edition with rare Hurst Hatch T-topsSee the original window sticker and other rare items. This is an extremely rare car with only 4,807produced. How few are still in existence?
This is a running and driving car. It runs good and I was told by the previous owner that the motor was rebuilt about 45,000 miles ago and the transmission rebuilt as well. This is a running and driving car and I would say it basically needs cosmetics as stated below.
It has some hail damage and it had some body damage and that is why the passenger fender, nner fender, ose, umper/sub-bumper, adiator support and radiator were replaced. Some minor frame repair was professional done. It basically needs some body work (dings, mall dents, ome small rust areas but not major, inyl top needs to be replaced), aint and the interior could use some attention but it is not bad. The previous owner had a low budget scuff and shoot paint job done to it and the front bucket seats were reupholstered in tan vinyl. The original upholstery was leather. See the pictures of the back seat in the original leather. This is a cool and rare car that can be driven and enjoyed while making the repairs to your taste. As it is a such a rare car, believe a stock type restoration would be the best but a restomod could be cool as well. I have only seen a handful of these cars.
What is even rarer about this one is that I have the original window sticker and it shows delivered to Hurst Performance, ontiac, ichigan. The original window sticker shows the 50th Anniversary logo only for the 1976 Anniversary cars.It also shows Grand Prix SJ Hardtop Coupe and LJ Luxury Appointments Option. The total was $8,340.85, hich was a very expensive car in 1976.Again, nly 4,807 were made and from what I have found this one is extremely rare.
See the pictures and see the extra parts that I will include. Plus I believe I have the air conditioner parts.
I will be happy to answer questions and provide additional information and pictures. Note that I have 100% positive feedback.
