Pontiac GTO 1966 Description
(704) 550-35031966 Pontiac GTO hardtop 389 tri-power 4-speed. This is a beautiful GTO with excellent floor pans I got the vehicle out of Washington State. I sanded the whole car down & had it professionally block sanded and repainted it's factory color vintage burgundy and installed a new vinyl top. The paint job on this Goat is absolutely stunning it is laser straight and has plenty of luster lots and lots of long hours block sanding and getting this baby this straight but finished result is worth it. The m...otor was rebuilt before I got the car I believe I have the receipts for that. I have an entire 3 ring binder full of receipts on this car going back a good while I was told this car is only a three owner vehicle. When the motor was rebuilt I could see they've done some really good changes like putting aluminum heads on and an old stock tri-power intake & carb setup to really wake this car up as well as updated the car to power brakes. The 4 speed transmission really shifts smooth on the open road & with the new BF Goodrich Tires really handles nicely & looks pretty good on those new Cragar rims. Most important the car really sounds spectacular it had a new exhaust & headers put on at the time of the engine rebuild and it sounds awesome. This car was originally built at the California Factory & has spent most of it's life in Washington & California & now in North Carolina so the car has Factory tinted glass which is pretty rare to find these days. the car has a new headliner that was installed at the same time as the vinyl roof. Interior is in very good shape for its age the seats are all intact in great shape Door Panels, carpet is in good shape as well. we put a new bumper on the rear It looks excellent. this car looks really really nice & will make somebody very happy to own. I don't want to tell you the car is perfect by any stretch because I'm sure any car 50+ years you could pick it apart however in my opinion this car is sporting at least a $10,000 paint job & gets noticed by everyone. I have the PHS Doc’s to prove the car is a Rear GTO you can tell in the Vin of the car this year as well ( 242 ) tells you 2= Pontiac & 42 = GTO model Vehicle. I am not a big GTO guy & I don’t know if this car is numbers matching so I a not stating it is. I do know the tri power was added at some point & it is very cool. Thank you for looking .

About Old Time Classics Inc. Established in 1994 Old time Classics takes a different approach to the classic car business.
Our team is made up of true car guys. With over 60 years of combined experience our staff is knowledgeable and honest.
Jeff Welch The owner and ceo bought his first classic when he was just 12 a 65 mustang 289 for just $50. He was hooked you see Jeff grew up on the lap of his dad driving street racers till he was big enough to reach the pedals. When he was 13 he borrowed (wink) the neighbor’s license plate and took that 289 mustang for a ride around the town. And a new car nut was born. As a teen growing up in Boston Jeff worked at body shops and speed shops to fulfill his addiction to classic cars then made the decision to start Old Time Classics.
At Old Time Classics, we love stories like this and every team member has one just like it and that is what sets us apart from our competition. When we sell a car we know if its original, had quality body work, has rust issues, etc. And we will tell you about it.
