Pontiac Trans Am 1978 Description
Up for sale is my 1978 Pontiac Trans Am with only 74000 original miles. This Trans Am is powered by its original 6.6 Pontiac 400 engine. Factory options include optional W72 engine, working air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, rear defrost, power windows, cast aluminum snowflake wheels, delay windshield wipers, and tinted glass. This car has always been adult owned, meticulously maintained and garaged since new. The body, undercarriage and interior is in original and remarkable condition. Lower fenders, bottom of doors and rear quarters are rust free. The hood decal is original to this car as is most of its decals. Both rear quarters clearly exhibit factory pinch welds and are not smoothed over with body filler. The trunk retains its original space saver tire, jack assembly, air canister, and trunk mat. This is as original as you will find for the price. The engine compartment is 100% stock. The interior has received a new carpet. There are no cracks in the like new dash, no rips in the original seats, no sagging headliner, mint black steering wheel, and original package shelf cardboard. I have the dealer order sheet, original owner's manual, warranty booklets, PHS documents. and owner history. All of which will be provided to the new owner. I personally own some very rare, high caliber Trans Am"s andrecognizetrue, original, survivor Trans Ams. With the soaring prices of Trans Ams, this car will serve as an excellent future investment and turn key collector car. This IS NOT a Trans Am that has been inside a Trans Am or backyard restoration shop which started out as a rusted out #@&* box and now up for sale for outrageous money. Original Trans Ams demand premium prices and will continue to be the collector car of the present and future. Please call with questions John Casey 978 994 6884
