Pontiac GTO 1969 Description
For Sale!
1969 GTO (242) VIN
Originally Trim Codes (Black on Black)
Super-Clean, real 1969 GTO. Frame off restored in ~2001. Freshly Rebuilt 455 with Tremec 5 Speed drivetrain done in 2013 by POCI and GTOAA concours gold winner, Chis Winston (CW Restorations, Cincinnati, OH).Take advantage of all of the torque of the 455 andbe able to cruise on the highway in 5th! So, just to be totally clear, the car is NOT numbers matching. Interior is awesome and immaculate, the like-new parchment white contrasts great with the black and doesn’t burn you in the summer! Power steering/power front disk brakes and some judge look add-ons (stripe and spoiler). The bottom of the car and trunk are as clean as the shining black paint that the rest of the body shows. No bondo.
I am open to showing the car to you or your evaluator and recommend evaluating what you are going to buy in person. I will do my best to describe the car in detail. Please contact me to discuss details and I can forward pictures of almost anything you need.
The car has a clean, Florida title in my name. Terms of the auction: $500 non-refundable deposit, the rest due (and checks cleared) before title is signed over and car is allowed to leave my home, period. I can make sure I am available to help you or your shipper load vehicle if given ample notice.
I’m a responsible owner and appreciator of this era GTO and have owned plenty of them (a ’68, a ’70 and three ‘69s, including a Judge). I haven’t raced or thrashed this vehicle in any way. That said, of all of my GTOs this car pulls the hardest and drives the best on the highway…..
Selling because I moved to Florida from Ohio a year ago and the car toy has to go to make room for the boat toy….

Paint does show the fact that this car is a driver (I drive it to work at least one day a week) and probably has an estimated 20,000 miles on it since its restoration in 2001 and about 3,000 miles on the drivetrain since 2013.
