Pontiac Catalina 1960 Description

Here is a very nice 1960 Pontiac Catalina convertible. This was a frame on restoration completed 8 years ago. The restoration started with a rust free body from Arizona, the trunk pan & two rear seat pans were professionally replace, the rest of the car is all original steel. The originally 389 was removed & refreshed. The only change was i converted the charging system from generator to alternator ( still have all the original parts ) and the tri power was removed & replaced with a two barrel carb . ( the tri power goes with the car.). The transmission was completely overhauled along with all new suspension. The car runs & drives beautiful & everything works as it should. The interior is all ne, period correct from SMS interiors.The car a new top with all pads replaced. The body was stripped to bare metal and painted with base clear coat. There are a few scratches & one are of bubbling under the passenger rear quareter. There is no rust or rot on this car anywhere.
