Pontiac Grand Prix 1971 Description

1971 Pontiac Grand Prix model J. Equipped with 400 ci V8 motor backed by a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. Has MSD electronic ignition, eaders, ally wheels. Odometer reads 35,534 but probably means 135,534. Engine, rans, nd posi rear diff were rebuilt 8 years ago and then the previous owner parked it and hasn't been on the road since. I installed new fuel pump, attery, resh gas, ew plugs and it fired up. Drives down the block, rans shifts and brakes stop good. Should probably have the brakes freshened up before putting it on the road. Some rust around edges of hood, ear window, nd other areas. Exhaust leak from header collector to tailpipe. Heater core has been bypassed, o I assume the it probably needs to be replaced. Interior needs cleaning but appears complete & original. Hood lock rod / latch will require repair as it is currently not operating and opening the hood takes a little finesse. Great winter project. Easy restoration for someone who can do a little body work and light mechanical work. Feel free to make your best offer- Must sell !!!
