Pontiac Firebird 1970 Description
Winning bidder got it for a steal (Much Less than I paid for it) Then didn't account for shipping apparently nor pay the deposit nor winning bid. There are free quotes online that will give you an idea of what shipping will be :)Another chance to own the fastest Classic on your Block!!!LOW OPENING BID & NO RESERVE !!!!!You wanted to be in the Fast and the Furious???Live the FAST AND FURIOUS Dream in this "Built" unfinished "almost finished" Restoration Time Capsule from over a Quarter Century ago.A Great Deal of 1980's Dollars were dumped into this car doing ALL of the Body and Drivetrain work and before the body panels were even shimmed and aligned or the new carpet kit( which is old now) was finished being installed They got VERY upset that they could NEVER get the car running right. ..It was rolled into the garage not seeing the light of day for decades. The person I picked it up from pulled it out and tried to play with it but ran into the reason it was put away in the first place......I found the problem. It is very possible (LOL) that the lack of a PCV Valve and a really messed up vacuum system design had a little to do with it. The plug for the the seal in the valley pan for the PCV Valve from the rebuilder to keep the dust out was still in place.. Lol.There is a few minor spots to take care of where the paint is bubbling up after all these years but this Wicked Beast can be perfect with very little work.It now STARTS with a TAP of the Key andsounds like a SCREAMING MACHINE!!! Solid 60 PSI Oil Pressure. Here are a few other pluses..Built 400 MotorAutoHeadersDual Exhaust6 2 HeadsPerformer Pontiac Edelbrock intakeEdelbrock CarbHeadersDual ExhaustChrome Exhaust tipsB&M Ratchet ShifterConsoleTilt Steering WheelWeld Wheels and New TiresHeavy Duty Suspension with Sway BarsBack seats redone. Brand new Upholstery for the front seats in the trunk.I could on and on but look at the photos for yourself :DAside from hooking up the PCV Valve and vacuum correctly all I did wash wash it and wipe it down. It is as it was put away all those years ago..THIS CAR not only LOOKS WICKED but runs WICKED as well!!! EVERYONE Looks when this Car Rumbles by.The 1970 Firebird is the hardest to find and sells higher on Ebay than ANY other Firebird...IF you can find them. Feel free to search for yourself. The $25000 buy it now will disappear after the first bid as I have no reserve but will honor it for any who wish to use it.Julie :)This would fall between AVERAGE RETAIL and HIGH RETAIL in the NADA Book.1970 Pontiac Firebird2 Door CoupeResearch another classic carValuesSpecial NotesValuesValuesPrintOriginalMSRPLowRetailAverageRetailHighRetailBase Price$2986$7450$14100$29100Options:(change)400/330 HP 4bbl V8 Engine30%30%30%TOTAL PRICE:$2986$9685$18330$37830Search Local Cars for SaleFind 1970 Pontiac Firebird listings near youAutoTrader ClassicsClassic Car InsuranceGet a Collector insurance quote in three easy stepsProvided byClassic Car Resources
