Pontiac Grand Prix 1965 Description
Up for auction is my very rare 1965 Pontiac Grand Prix. This car was special ordered in November 1964 by Richard Jindra of Freemont, ebraska. The car was delivered to Adams Pontiac in Freemont, ebraska and was delivered on December 28, 964. I purchased it in June of 2014 from his son. This car was ordered with performance in mind. It has a 421 engine with an M-20 4 Speed transmission with the safe-t-track differential. Factory tach and manual steering and breaks were also ordered.
The car is starlight-black with red pearl interior. Mileage on this car is a stunning 12,000 miles!
The car retains all the original belts, oses, lams and wires from new.
When I purchased it, he original US royal tiles with the 1 inch white walls were still on the car. I have since put on new radial tiles and have added eight lug wheels. I have kept the original tires, heels and hub caps. Believe it or not, he tires still look like new.
When I received the car, had all the mechanics done and fluids changed by John and Paul Glasko in Akron, hio. The plugs and points were changed and were the originals. These were also kept.
I added a 1965 tripower unit to the car and kept the original four barrel with the manifold and absolutely perfect air cleaner.
The car retains most of the original paint except the top part of the passenger fender and part of the door. The chrome-stainless-potmetal are perfect. The glass is also factory and is in great shape.
The interior of this car of this car is something to behold. Perfect seats-headliner and carpeting. The seatbelt tags are still snow white. The is not pitting on any of the chrome in the interior. The console and shifter is perfect. The steering wheel is out of this world!
Under the car is still factory-no undercoating and still has all the original spiral shocks. The truck retains all it's original paint, eather-striping, runk mat, pare tire cover, nd side panels.
This car runs and drives like no other old car I have ever driven! I have put about 700 miles on this car since I bought it.
I have the original build-sheet, arranty book, wners manual and keys with the Adams Pontiac leather key holder.
In closing, hese low mileage cars that are survivors are getting next to impossible to find!
This car has it all, he right color (black) with the red pearl interior. A matching number 421 engine with the 4-speed transmission also. How can get it any better?
If this was a GTO what would it be worth? Much more rare than a GTO and in my opinion, uch more desirable!
Any questions, lease feel free to call me at 917-545-1641. My name is Fred. Please no text. I like speaking to interested parties by having a phone conversation and good luck bidding!
