1964 Pontiac GTO Convertible for sale in our Houston Showroom. For the 1964 and 1965 model years, the GTO was an optional package on the intermediate-sized Pontiac Tempest. The GTO became its own model from 1966 to 1971. It became an option package again for the 1972 and 1973 intermediate Le Mans. For 1974, the GTO option package was offered on the compact-sized Ventura. The GTO was selected Motor Trend Car of the Year in was the only muscle car in the world which contained the trend of putting powerful V8 engines in its future generation modern muscle cars. The GTO model was made from the 2004 to 2006 model years as an import for Pontiac, a left-hand drive version of the Holden Monaro, itself a coupé variant of the Holden still had the modern features with traditional muscle engine. This GTO is well optioned with a power convertible top, hub caps, power steering, power brakes, seat belts, and vinyl interior. The 389 CID V8 engine is backed by a 4 speed manual for a real muscle car feel! Drop the top and cruise in this beautiful first year GTO.
