Pontiac Firebird 1967 Description
I am selling a 1967 firebird with a Pontiac 400 engine and 4 speed transmission. This car originally came with a 350 but was changed over to a 400. The Pontiac factory exterior color is fathom blue and interior is parchment. This is a pretty nice color combination on a firebird you don't see it to often. The car has been garaged for the last 7 years.I purchased the car with the intentions of getting it back on the road but 2 kids later and i now have no time to work on it. I reassembled the car for sale so the panels and gaps may be a bit off as I figured who ever buys it will most likely take it apart again. I'm hoping someone can finish the project and get it back on the road. I tried to list everything I could think of good and bad below. Please take a look at the pictures I tried to include one from every possible angle. If you are local and would like to view it in person please send mea message to schedule a viewing. Car is being sold as is.
Good:
- New floors from front to rear.
- New metal pans under rear seats.
- New trunk pan.
- Pontiac 400 with new gaskets done about 6 years ago. Have yet to start it but it was pulled from a running car.
- 4 speed Saginaw tranny in really good condition.
- New alternator, starter, fuel pump, rotor, capacitor, belts.
- New brake master cylinder and front brake lines.
- Front end has been redone with all new bushings andshocks.
- New front brakes.
- New long tube headers.
- New subframe bushings and bolts.
- New radiator support.
- New drip rails for trunk included.
- New fuel sender unit.
- Additional parts are included to much to list but I included a picture of them.
- Also comes with a Massachusetts clear title.
Bad:
- Passenger Rocker and drivers rear quarter panelneeds attention. Could be patched up.
- Rear frame railsthat support theleaf springs need attention. Still structurally sound but not great.
- The complete interior needs to be redone.
- Needs new fuel line from tank up to front frame rail.
- Needs rear break lines and rear breaks redone.
- Wheels and tires are not in great shape. They are original Crager SS's though. 7's in the front and 8's in the rear.
- I don't have the keys for it so will need new locks all around. Previous ownerdidn't havethem.
- Rear drip rails around trunk needs to be redone. Replacement rails included.
