I've owned this vehicle since 2007. It was driven for the summer of '07 and '08 and has been off the road since.I also knew the prior owner who kept it in very good condition. This is what I know about it: Engine was rebuilt before I took ownership, t runs great and is very strong. It has some oil seepage typical of gasket design for its era. And theres no inspection cover around flywheel.Engine has fairly new waterpump, t needs a fan shroud it is cracked /missing a 6" peice. Battery replaced last year. Vehicle has been lowered slightly, ew coil springs,i t has had upper and lower control arm bushings replaced, along with upper and lower ball joints. Sway bar frame bushings and links replaced also.Rear End was rebuilt/installed about 12 years ago. Brake Hydraulics renewed also. It has professionally installed frame connectors. This Firebird handles like its on rails, nd runs very, ery well.Very fun car to drive and quite a head turner despite the fact it needs some body work and fresh paint. The Hood is a Ram Air II hood (non functional) and the scoops are wide open.
The previous paintwork is probably about 18 years old and has cracked mostly on the top surfaces. The drivers floor had a repair done before I bought it and a new floor section was placed over the original hole ( see pics). The hood tach has a loose connection and works intermittently. Rug is faded. Drivers seat ripped. Convertible Top is a little faded and the rear vinyl window has been cut out because it faded badly. Depending on you needs, ou could just get a new window installed or replace the whole top. I had started to remove some of the cracked paint on the decklid so it has spots of white primer on it.It has some rust in the front of both rear wheel openings.(see pics) .I have an extra 400 emblem. and a PMD full size spare wheel and tire. I tried to get alot of pics which show this vehicle's conditon, lease feel free to email me with any questions OR FOR MORE PICTURES. I have 100% feedback and have tried to show or disclose any flaws or problems with this vehicle. The 400 Convertible Firebird is becoming harder and harder to come by, had originally wanted to make this a Trans Am clone but just cannot find the time. So now someone else can enjoy a piece of Muscle Car History. Happy Bidding!! BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PICK-UP or TRANSPORTATION I WILL NOT SHIP VEHICLE SOLD AS-IS PAY-PAL deposit of $1000.00 required within 48 hours of auction end. I WILL ACCEPT PAY-PAL OR A CERTIFIED CASHIERS CHECK OR CASH IN PERSON ONLY FOR THE BALANCE OF PURCHASE

I forgot to add a few things: Right side exhaust manifold has a small leak which quiets down after it warms up. Engine oil pan has a dent in bottom lower area behind drain plug. Left front tire has a little dry rot and a slow leak. Both sun-visors have some distortion in shape.
The vehicle is a running driving car the clutch, ransmission and engine have no known issues. It has stock exhaust manifolds with dual exhaust into one single muffler. It has an aftermarket radio with two 5 1/4" speakers cut into the front kick panels. Door panels have no cuts/ rips.
I do not have any PHS documents on the vehicle. I have an electrical schematic for it. The vehicle does have power steering.
There is a rust spot similar to the one pictured for right side on front of quarter panel on left side also. I have over 100 pictures of the car and did not realize eBay only allowed 24 so I've tried to point out any issues not clear in the posted pictures. Again please feel free to email me with any questions.

Some more info to add. Engine has YB stamping, t has PMD wheels. The car is not missing anything that I know of except the jack and stock radio. Doors do not sag, inges are not worn at all. I have the original metal wiper arms, ictures show plastic wipers. Everything works except the clock. Glove box interior new & intact. They area below the top hinges, elow rear windows is NOT rusted. Trim / Chrome moldings are in very good shape .
This is one of 11,641 1969 Convertible Firebirds built.
And lastly...
For anyone looking for an investment vehicl, did a little research on 1969 Trans Am Clones, nd they sell for big bucks. There were only 8 Convertible T/A's made & only in 1969 and never sold to the public from GM . They are very rare and look awesome. In my opinion if you were to consider making this a T/A clone you'd likely bring in $40k + or more if done moderately close to a real one. I think mine is close enough to invest in to get a decent looking clone. Do a little research on them! & Thanks for looking!

Leaf springs and shackles were renewed also (totally forgot). And I'm pretty sure this engine is 340HP stock, ut it has a mild cam, ut I don't know the size or type.
Vehicle also all 4 shaker cans. I've been getting many questions so hope this helps. Car is a stock NO A/C car also.
