Pontiac GTO 1968 Description

1968 GTO w/Factory A/C
Did you ever dream to find aGTO that you can restore with your children? Just one car that isn't a rust bucket, with all the hard work already completed that you can tinker with in you spare time?
Well here you go!
History of the car that I know of.......This 1968 GTO is an older restoration project that was owned by a body guy in Buffalo, NY. in 2000. He completely disassembled the car, painted the frame and chassis....completely undercoated the car...replaced all the body bushings, brake lines, front end parts, rear bushings etc...professional job...all the body work...chrome bumper, chrome on the windows, he replaced the radiator support and bumper from a 69,it was ready to paint ( you can see in the pics..he started to paint the car...hecalled it blurple...I have the paint codes to make that color if you like it) ...and then like a lot of projects come to an end...his baby came....I also have his name, address and phone # included with the paperwork for this carHe sold the car to someone...I thinkaround 2004.... to a guy in Ohio....The dick head left the car outside for the next 6 years...thank the Lord with minimal damage to the car (there is some rust damage aroundboth windows...a couple of minor rust bubbles on the body but that's it...whew)The car in 2010 was moved to Florida and bought by a car restorer name Robert Kelly...I have his phone # too, who just had too many projects, and parked the car inside his shop.He sold it to me in 2011Since then I have had the car in dry storage. I cleaned the car up and detailed the engine compartment.Being the engine is a 1968 400, but isnt the original engine, I converted the car to a 4 speed...if you want the original auto...I have it..... with the vin # stamped in it.
So here is more about the car
I have all PHS Docs and paperwork going back to 2000

So to sum things upThe underside of the car was restored 15 years ago, its not perfect but looks fantastic!!!The floors and trunk are solid!!! no patch panels. The body is in great condition...does have some rust bubbles and and needs rust repair around the windows. The car starts right up (she seems to run a little rich, but that's it)..no noises, no leaks, no smoke...Shifts smoothly though the gearsInterior needs to be completed. So here it is...all the hard work is done for you..the "easy" restorationthat weall hope we can find one day....how many GTO's go by on ebay, and they all needto be lifted off the body to paint the frame?A 1969 just sold in similar condition for $11999 and had holes in the trunk...the underside needed to be restored....So what is all that extra time and money worth to you?
