Pontiac GTO 1968 Description

For Sale is my 1968 Pontiac GTO Convertible. This is my second GTO and I have had this one garaged in Virginia since 2003. I bought it from a dealer in St. Louis MO where is was sold new as you can see in the pictures I have the original sticker. Built in Arlington TX and sold in St. Louis MO was originally Vedoro Green-Ivory White. Had been painted red when I got it 15 years ago. Title says 103k miles and has 106 now so as you can see I put 3k miles on it in 15 years so it has been sitting around a lot (always in garage) so thus its time to let it go. Car runs and looks nice. It is a great driver but as you see in pics not a show car. Still look plenty good for the occasional parade and Sunday drives which is all I ever used it for. Pretty much all original however I added the wood grain to dash you see as it was just black and I didn't care for that and has an after market vintage look radio CD player with CD changer in console. Body very straight and included pic of one bubble on read deck plus one dent on passenger door from a kid bicycle falling into it but otherwise very clean. Could use a paint job but looks great for theoccasional driver. Very clean straight forward car that just could use some TLC to be a show stopper. Headlight covers go down but need a little help coming up and top is slow but works. Since I keep it garaged I haven't put the top up in a couple years as I garage it over the Virginia winters and just put the car cover on it. You can see all the options on the window sticker pic. Would love to see it go to someone that will restore or spend some time with it to get some use out of it as it really is a fun car. Will be happy to answer any questions as I am not a car guy but just appreciate nice looking and fun driving old machines! Have set this with a Low Reserve to get it moved. I can assist with regional delivery as my brother has a rollback or you can arrange your own. Will need deposit of $500 immediately upon close and if you have poor feedback please do not bother to bid. I would just rather keep my baby than see it go to a bad home!
