Here we have for sale a Pontiac Trans Am Street and Strip road legal dragster, riginally assembled in Norwood Ohio. A huge amount of work has gone into this entire car, tarting with a 5.7 V8 Chevy engine, ith a huge amount of additional work done, o much so I cannot begin to list it! All work has been carried out to a very high standard.
The car has Nitros Oxide, lumbed but not wired. There is a fuel cell in the boot and a quick release battery which is new. Including the high intake and the two Holley's, ngine wise I can discuss on Skype if you require further information. Obviously, he vehicle is now living in the UK where it has been run at Santa Pod in the high 10's. There is a 350 gear box, inch rear axle with locker. Hurst shifter, full 10 point tubular roll bars built on strong twin rail chassis, bucket seats with harnesses and net to the drivers door. There is a sound system in the rear.
Exterior is mostly built from fibre-glass panels., .e., oot, onnet, oth doors and front wings. This makes this car, ltra light and ultra quick, he car has power steering and power brakes. To the rear the car has wheelie bars and on the right hand side of the number plate an on/off switch for stereo, op of boot rear of screen on/off switch for the engine. The front passenger side wing on/off switch for the marshals trackside if you crash it! Also it has open and closed headers. Onboard fire extinguishers. To the underneath of the car, f it does end up on its roof there are two cut off valves for fuel and engine. There are perspex windows, river door and passenger door. 15 inch centreline wheels on front and rear, ust look at the photos for details.
There is a very realistic reserve price set on this car as I am just not using it currently and it needs to be out and driven.
