Pontiac Tempest 1967 Description
HI offered is a great south carolina 67 tempest ac tinted glass V-8 vinal top super low rust stored clone I have been working off and on for several years on it now...found a 70 judge clone 3/4 done so I decided to see if someone needs a fair priced solid 67 gto clone. I got this car 2 years ago.worked in spare time off and on on it. The frame was stripped and painted at a body shop in saginaw. I added a 2 inch drop with disc brakes to front end costing a grand. i have a grand in the hood, paid $600 for a clean one,I stripped it bare inside and out and got it ready.just needs top painted. has a 2.72 rear end,i had intentions of adding a 12 bolt judge rear i have here but its not in sale to keep costs low. It came with a 326 and a st 300 but in this sale NO drivetrain. i do have a 389, 3 -1967 400 cores, and 2- 326s in shop here. the fenders wheel wells sweet core support were dipped bare and chassis black sprayed on them. car has tinted glass!! interior comes with dash, gauges, pad and Front seat ONLY.again keeping costs low.most all parts are here in hoppers (but not included)to finish car,and if it doesnt sell,I will store it and finish it in the future as these 67s are getting ATE UP! I was buying regularly 10 or so 66 67 gto, lemans and tempests a year and now only 2 this year...all gon, crappy,or overpriced... NONE of the AC,or trim parts in hoppers shown in pics are included, again there is over 3 grand worth of mint trim and ac stuff which would add significantly to costs and if a track cars the plan,as was mine, all that weight slows you down!! Trunk floor was cut out and a new 3 pc welded in,80% done.needs front lip finished and lower new braces installed..we replaced pass floor as ac cars weep there commonly.rest of floors were sweet!! . car needs finished, but has a great base and good work done so far...I was making a strip car from it when I bought a 70 Judge clone for the 428 and the trans/rear end. it was so nice i decided i couldnt donor it out.so the 67s for sale! chicago 70 judge guy had $35K in that car,, all top of the line stuff! real wheel puller. art morrison 9 inch, spool, trans brake, computerized trans, built 428,holly 750,disc brakes and all bodywork done.so we changed directions and the 67 is available at a great price too.I have 3K in MY work done to it so far too. I part cars that are not sensible to build and the 67 parts are worth as follows. $2500 - frame/new dics. $400 t-lid, $400 tinted glass. $500 dash mint shape with pad .$400 AC core support, $200 wheel wells, $100 hood hinges. $300 -1966 grills/header,,$200 wheels (all 4 15 inch ralleys like rear included) $200 fenders, $ 200 doors. $500 tail panel with install. $100 front seat. All that comes to 6K so titled body is free! just buy the rest at the 6K and cars tossed in! So theres the breakdown on the project.easy to finish them half done too,by the time burnout sets in you are so close to done that THAT motivates you to get er done. almost all stuffs available here to finish it too as i set it all back from selling. any questions fee free to ask,see feedbacks and buy with CONFIDENCE!! .no reamer stories from me! Wish I could say the same from my car buys.some people eh?? .ps we rebuild cars and have hundred pics of all work done. we include histories on our projects. for sale locally and on c-list so I reserve the right to end auction at ANY TIME thanks!
