Here is the one you have been waiting for a completely custom Pro-Touring 1967 GTO Tribute Show Car. This car has documented 70,000 miles on the title and is only a 3-owner car. This one of a kind beauty has had tens of thousands invested into it over the years and it runs and rides like a dream to replicate this car would easily run you in excess of $80,000. I have a ton of paperwork documenting all of the build from past to present. No words can describe this muscle car in accurate detail it draws a crowd at any show, ets thumbs up wherever you go and hour long conversations at the gas stations.
To start off the body on this 1967 GTO Tribute is probably the most solid you will ever find. There are no patch panels anywhere; all the sheet metal is original. No waves or bondo. Very straight and gaps are next to perfect as you would expect. The car has always been garaged from all the documentation that I have. Car has had one repaint from the original blue to the PPG blue you see here. The paint is 10 years old and has a very nice shine to it but it is starting to show some of its age, othing major and it is still very nice and presentable as you can tell in the pictures. All of the chrome and stainless are original and in excellent shape with minor wear but again nothing you really can see. The rear bumper has some very minor dents from the previous owner you can see in the picture. All LED lights were installed front and rear along with custom marker lights inside the GTO emblems.
The interior is absolutely gorgeous and extremely comfortable with custom leather interior. The seats are full reclining that are an extremely nice feature and the front seats have custom GTO emblems stitched into them. The door panels and hardware are all custom and really set the car off at the shows. The entire interior is accented with real wood that again really gives it a nice custom high dollar look. The carpet, eadliner, eats, auges, ere all replaced about 2 years ago and look like new. It has a custom SONY audio MP3 and Bluetooth radio installed for listening to some tunes as you are cruising around town in this monster. The entire car was insulated in dynamat prior to the interior installation so the noise and heat is kept to a minimum. About every gauge imaginable is installed to make sure you can monitor everything at once. Car also has custom alarm system installed which is controlled from the FOB on the keys. All the gauges, ights, tc. work as they should even the CLOCK and hood tach work! This beauty is even equipped with tilt wheel.
Powering this beast is a monster pro-built Chevrolet 427 detuned for the street it is bored .60 over fully balanced and blueprinted. Forged Steel crank, orged H-Beam Rods, &E Forged Pistons. High volume oil pump runs 80-90 psi oil pressure. Clevite bearings, ouble roller timing chain. Oval Ported street heads with 2.20 and 1.88 stainless valves and scorpion 1.8 roller rockers. Comp. Cam Solid Lifter 274/286 Duration and 568/578 Lift. Edelbrock performer rpm intake port matched to the heads. 850 CFM 4 corner idle dual pumper carburetor. All MSD ignition with fireball coil, SD 6AL rev limiter. Hooker super comp ceramic coated headers flowing into custom 3”exhaust with 4” tips out the back. The engine was put on a dyno and made 474 Horsepower on the engine alone. That puts out about 420 to the rear wheels. The entire block was built for nitrous and it is currently set up at a 200 shot and has only been used once on the dyno. With the nitrous the car made 603 Horse to the rear wheels so needless to say it is a beast, nd this is it detuned for the street so there is plenty more if the new owner wants to turn the car up. Nitrous is fully set up with remote bottle opener, ottle warmer with controls inside the cabin. Timing retard and switches that are all controlled from the drivers seat if needed. Engine has less than 3000 miles on it and it runs like a champ, urn the key and wake up the neighbors. Optima battery and 10 gauge wiring was all installed to ensure it starts everytime you bump the key.
Trans is a Turbo 400 with 2400 stall and B&M shift kit. All hardened internals were installed along with trans cooler and Hurst shifter, rans shifts like new no slips or funny noises.
Rear is a 12 Bolt all set up with girdle, ichmond 3:31 gears for highway cruising. Strange axles and eaton posi-trac unit. High performance bearings and seals were installed, long with U-Joints.
Cooling is a custom built 4 Core aluminum radiator, igh volume water pump, nd custom electric fan set up. This car never runs above 180 degrees even in rush hour traffic. Car also has a remote oil cooler installed so you don’t have to worry. The entire fuel system was replaced from gas tank to carburetor. With dual fuel set ups for the nitrous.
Car is fully equipped with A/C from vintage air a complete polished unit (needs to be charged), laming river complete power steering assembly all polished. Brand new 4 Wheel disc brakes with new power booster and hardware. Car stops on a dime. March pulley set up with all new belts. Car is loaded with features needless to say.
All of the suspension is rebuilt, just had the entire front end completely replaced and I mean the entire front end, ew tie rods, ew control arms, ew shocks 70/30, ew bushings, ew grade 8 hardware, ew springs, ll of the bushings are polygraphite throughout the car. Sway bars installed front and rear, ith the back end 4-linked with boxed control arms and adjustable upper control arms. Air bag suspension installed in the rear with high performance springs. Car was built right no expense spared. Car steers and rides extrememly nice, ike a new car.
Wheels and tires are custom 15” Crager Hurst wheels in chrome and they really make the car pop at the shows. Tires are still like new and the car rides like a Cadillac.
Trunk and underneath are super solid no rust or patches. Floorboards etc are all original and don’t have any rust. Trunk is fully set up with full size spare, ack and assembly. Framed Photos for the shows and the nitrous tank.
