Plymouth GTX 1967 Description
Hello and thank you for looking!Up for sale is my 1967 Plymouth GTX.It is a 3 speed automatic, olumn shift with the torqueflite transmission, 40 v8 375hp big block engine. This is a matching numbers car.
This is a great car and I am saddened to have to sell her...I have a 6 month old baby at home and while the wife isn't making me sell the car, think it would be best for us as we are starting a new family. The car has NO rust. I recently have spent some time and money getting the engine dialed in to run smoothly. This included getting a new radiator core, utting in new wheel cylinders, ew brake master cylinder and brake booster, ew spark plugs, ew fuel pump gasket, ew carburetor, ew water pump, nd had the seal on the rear axle replaced as it was leaking a little bit of oil. The interior of this car is in phenomenal shape. The exterior looks great as well. No major dents, ings, nd no scratches. The paint job on this car is also very good as it was repainted in 1996 according to the factory specs. This is a 48 year-old car that remains in good condition! I have a binder that came with the purchase of the car and this includes all historical documentation on the vehicle such as the original build sheet, he original owner's certicard, nd all documentation regarding services done to the vehicle. Additionally, t is a matching VINs number car... and it remains that way, nmolested. Prior to 1968, here is no real way to ensure that the engines and transmissions were original as they were not stamped with the VINs, ut the stamps on it show accurate info per thebuild sheet as far as engine and date. I purchased this car to be somewhat of a daily driver, ut the Southern California desert heat in the summer is killer and this car did not come stock with A/C. I've considered putting A/C in it, ut I don't want to undo its historical state... I'll leave the to the next owner to decide. Prior to the full heat of the summer, his car ran excellent as a daily driver.
As far as what it needs? Nothing really. I planned on having the actual engine painted to show a little better, ut other than that, he car just needs a good home. I'm in no rush to sell the car... but I am motivated to sell to the right buyer... so make an offer as I will consider them all!
