Plymouth GTX 1970 Description
Up for auction is this 1970 Plymouth GTX with 440 V8, opar 727 Torqueflite Automatic transmission with a B&M shifter, ally wheels with BFG Radials with good tread, rakes are drum all around and function as they should, ar runs and drives well with lots of power and trans shifts well as expected. Car is all original with a few issues and all numbers matching, riginally bought out of Florida 4 years ago by the current owner who has tasked me to sell for them. Body has 101604 miles logged on the odometer but was restored at some point and the currant owner has only driven it a total of 600 miles. I personally inspected this ride and can tell you she is a beauty, 9% flawless paint job but there are some minor issues I will explain. 1. You will notice in the pictures that the center console is missing and can be found on eBay for around $1000 for a complete console. 2. Some missing trim on the rear trunk lid and corners. 3. Missing trim at the points of the rear windows. 4. On the non functional cowl the former owner installed 2 lights that are not original and the current owner pasted a 440 emblem. 5. There is a missing inspection plate exposing the flywheel on the transmission. 6. Former owner installed after market radio CD/player and the original radio is not included with this sale. The engine bay could use some TLC starting with the fan shroud that the former owner did a sloppy repair job and functions as it should but over all none of what I mentioned hamper its performance. The motor has had some work that I have no information on but by listening to it run, ne can tell that it has a high performance cam installed and lights up the tires from here to Sunday. Considering all the issues mention if corrected the beast could sell in the high 50’s to 70K. We have no information who or where the build was done at the time of restoration. All I can say is it was restored at some point as there are no leaks and no rust. I am an honest Ebayer with 100% feedback rating and plan on keeping it that way. I play fair and expect the same from potential buyers. This item is being sold locally and auction could end at any time without notice. I am open to reasonable offers with all things considered. Buyers can inspect the car or send an appraiser by appointment, ust send me a message and we can set that up. I have a around 160 pictures if you get a hold of me I can email you the link to my Dropbox and you can comb thru them to better judge its overall condition. Good luck and bid with confidence as the reserve is fair and appraised by the experts on the “Mopar swap/buy” Facebook page, nd a big thanks to those guys who helped with pointing out issues I would have most likely not have mentioned here.
