1934 PLYMOUTH
FRAME AND CHASSIS
v I picked up an original 1934 Plymouth frame and cut about 18” off of the back of the frame and about 12” off of the front. I installed a 1932 Ford cross member in the front and a cross member for the 1979 Jag rear end and boxed the rails on both front and back. I also filled all of the holes on both sides of the frame and rounded the front frame horns 32 style. v Custom built the master cylinder bracket and transmission mounts. v Did all of the body work on the frame and painted the frame PPG 8900 single stage black. v A TCI chrome show package 4 inch drop 4 link front end with upgraded Willwood rotors and polished calipers. v Installed a chrome Vega steering box and stainless Borg u-joints and stainless ¾ double D shafts. v Installed a 1979 Jag rear end, verything chromed or polished except for third member also installed chrome trailing arms, pgraded Wuillwo9od polished caliper kit, 54 gears with an Auburn posse. v A Willwood master cylinder, illwood proportioning valve, illwood residuals and all stainless hard lines with AN fittings and braided stainless flex lines and chrome brake pedal. v Billet remote brake fluid reservoir and braided flex line. v Billet specialties break line hold downs. v 18”x10” Boyd Coddington torque thrust wheels and 15”x5” ET 10 spoke wheels and Mickey Thompson tires. v A custom built shortened driveline.BODY
v 1934 Plymouth five window coupe factory steel body channeled 3” also a new 16 gauge steel floor was fabricated and a 1” 063” square tubing steel cage was fabricated to replace the old inner structure to strengthen the body and trunk area and to also9 protect the area of the fuel tank, attery and fuse panel. v A 2” chop in the back and 2 ½” in the front and all doors, indshield and inside molding rings were cut and made to fit. v A 1933 Plymouth roof was used to make a more stream lined and lower roof and an old canvas roof was filled with the donor roof from a 1978 Chevy celebrity. The cowl was cut out and filled in, ll of the holes were filled in on the firewall and the rear of the body was bobbed 2”, renched in license plate, ustom OED tail lights housing were fabricated then welded into the body. I also welded a 1933 steel dash replacing the stock 34 dash. v The doors were outfitted with hidden hinges and power windows, n additional bump and hole were welded in for duel windshield wipers. Specialty windows were used for both windows and wipers. v A billet instrument panel and Stewart Warner gauges were installed, C vents were installed into the now shaven dash. v Three boxes of 36 sq ft = 108sq ft of Dynamat extreme was installed in the body for sound deadening. v An Ididit 30” six position tilt chrome steering column with a billet steering wheel and leather wrapped ring. v A ¼” thick fiberglass insert was made for the headliner. v A Vintage Air super unit was installed with upgraded LED controls. v A custom console made from birch wood and a steel outer shell wrapped with leather to house the AC controls and the Alpine USB port and blue tooth stereo, eadlight switch, SB port adapter wiper switch and Lokar shifter. v Rockford Fozgate 1000 watt amp, CA cables with 4 three way FoCal speakers. v A HWY 22 wiring kit was used in the steel enclosure along with a steel box that I made to go around the NHRA approved fuel cell for safety. v Billet specialties rear view and outside door mirrors. v The original windshield frame was triple plate chromed. v All leather interior was installed with modified Acura Integra seat, ather headliner with the entire inside moldings wrapped with the same leather and wool carpeting. v The trunk area was also done in leather, he underside of the trunk lid and the side walls. The floor of the trunk was done in wool carpeting. v Grill was chopped 3” and a one piece ruitlibb hood..MOTOR & TRANS
v A 1955 Dodge Royal custom was the donor car for the engine, 270 Hemi was used and it was completely rebuilt and balanced. The cam was sent into Hot Heads and reground to a ¾ race, nstalled new pistons, alves, ushrods, ifters, earings, ardened intake and exhaust seats, ew valve springs, 304 double roller timing chain set. v Outside the engine we installed a polished aluminum timing chain cover, inned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner, illet water crossover, 40 modified dampener and polished aluminum pulleys with a chrome small block Chevy water pump, olished aluminum Weiend manifold, 25 Demon carburetor, Lokar braded stainless and billet aluminum throttle cable. We used a MSD pro billet ready to run distributer and a blaster 3coil Sanderson street rod block hugger headers, ll stainless 2” exhaust with polished stainless mufflers, hrome 100 amp alternator, new polished billet specialties mini sedan 304 AC pump and hand fabricated polished aluminum brackets for the hemi. v A Hot Heads Trans adapter for a rebuilt 700r4 with shift kits and a custom made driveline. A Malory electric fuel pump and filter was used with all braided stainless steel fuel lines (all fitting are Earl’s anodized fittings). v Hot Heads billet oil filter adapter, aylor hemi spark plug wires.MISCELLANEOUS
v Billet specialties fuel pedal. v 1936 Ford headlights with halogen bulbs and turn signals and braded stainless wire covers. v Walker radiator with transmission cooler and electric fan. v All stainless 3/8 transmission cooler lines with AN fittings. v Custom chopped front grill from Alumacraft. v Polished stainless headlight stands and polished stainless shock towers. v 1946 Plymouth glass third brake light made into LED tail lights. v Custom Harley Davidson gas door for fuel was put into the driver’s side of the body by the trunk lid. v A billet specialties trunk latch was put inside the cabin.
