Plymouth Duster 1974 Description
Click Video Tab for additional photos/videos. Mostly original Very well keep 74 Plymouth duster 2 dr sports hardtop. Matching 318ci, factory a/c that blows cold air and updated to R134 Refrig. Original 904 transmission, rear-end, and interior as seen in my test drive / walk around videos. 318 is mechanically sound with no valve train noises or lower end knocking. We did install a new Holly 4 barrel carburetor, radiator, starter, etc and a Plymouth dual snorkel air clean that we had on our parts shelf, as seen in photos. We wanted it to be a drive as it sits, cosmetic stuff can be fixed later was our thoughts. By the visual/ low wear of the internals of the engine while on engine stand, the low mileage could be possible, seen in photos/doc's. Also I took pictures of sheet metal with original vin stamps, showing original sheet metal on car. We have replaced brake system, Booster, calipers on back, complete. A Full charge on the a/c system, All new fluids, diff forward, transmission service. The Body/sheet metal is Solid, minor dents but no visual rusted through area's, as seen in photos while duster was on the 4 post lift. From what I can see maybe a few touchups but mostly Original Paint, trunk area, body, door jambs and engine compartment. Engine compartment has been blocked for a re-spray while engine was out on engine stand inspection, but we decided to not change anything having to do with body or paint because of its original condition. Patina/paint is starting on hood and deck lid as seen in photos. We buffed, polished and dress the tires. This will allow for the new buyer to see car as it sits before its 1st complete repaint. 44Years The Dash electrical works as seen in my photos/videos. Trunk is as nice as you could ask for being in its original condition. Carpet has been pulled in trunk to show condition of sheet metal. Carpet in interior also original still in tacked, Fold down rear seat area still complete, Rubber weather seal are not brittle and still pliable to the touch as seen in pictures. Looks to be original glass in car as well minus front windshield, Chrysler stamping etched in to glass, as shown in videos and pictures. Underside/Undercarriage is untouched. no undercoating on panes, lightly in front wheel wheels. very clean and rust free from what can visually be seen. solid, solid car. Fold down rear seat, Front torsion bars, for Rake/height adjustment. PS, PB, front disc, Thank you for your interest. If interested further feel free to call me.
