Plymouth GTX 1969 Description
Up for sale is mynicely restoredmatching #'s 1969 Plymouth GTX with the original Super Commando440/375 HP, 4 speed transmissionand the Dana 60 3.54 sure griprear axle.During the time of restoration theengine has been totally rebuilt to factory specs, new clutch set, front suspension rebuilt, power steering box,brakes (still has drum brakes), new Magnum 500 15"x 8" with 255/60/15BF Goodrich Radials, 2 1/2" exhaust with factory tips. Body wassand blasted and takento bare metal, both rear quarters and the trunk pan were replaced with full panels from AMD. This car has the original floor pan which were in excellent shape. This car was originally Y 4 Spanish Gold paint with the Y 4 Spanish Gold Vinyl top and green interior (awful color combination) hence the color change. The paint and body has been professionally done with Go Mango base coat clearand is about and nice as you're going to see. Bumpers chromed, new mirrors, finish panel is NOS not reproduction which was a very high dollar item,grillerestored, head lightsand bezels, tail lights and bezels, legendary seat coversand carpet kit and door panels, arm rest, door handles, package tray, dash and lower dash restored along with the instrument gauges, window wipes, door rubber and weather stripping,radio does not work. As you can tell by the pictures so much has been done to this car that it's hard to list it all.This car runs and drivesas good as it looksand the winning bidder will not be disappointed. Me and my brother bought this car from the original owner and after finishing the car and seeing how nice it turn outI decided to keep itso I bought my brother's part. It's time for me to let it go now and it will make someone a excellent car.
