Plymouth Road Runner 1972 Description
Is a very clean 1972 Plymouth B Body Road Runner tribute car, It still has all of its original sheet metal.
This is a car you can get in and drive anywhere, I recently took it on a 300 mile road trip.
All of the restoration work on this car has been done in the last 18 months.
We started with a very clean running and driving 72 Satellite Sebring plus. This car has its original Build shee, a copy of the Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price Label and fender tag.
All of the small dents were repaired and the car was Repainted with DuPont FJ6 Sassy Grass Green paint . we also added an Original working air grabber hood and Road runner stripes and decals. The Front Bumper and Grill were refreshed and the rear bumper was re-chromed and the taillights replaced. We also installed a new windshield.
Inside The original floors were in good condition, someone had installed an aftermarket shiftier that we removed and repaired the console area with original parts from another 72. We then coated the floor pans with POR-15 and insulated and sound proofed all of the interior. we replaced the headliner, Carpe, door panels and had all of the original seats reupholstered. The Dash was removed and refurbished with a new dash cap. All of the gauges were brought back to their original working condition.
An aftermarket Kenwood stereo has been installed in the glove box and we installed 4 speakers.
Under the hood we installed a rebuilt 1970 340 with 202 J heads with adjustable rocker, purple cam and a new Edelbrock Performer 4 barrel carburetor and electronic ignition. We also had the transmission rebuilt and added Dual exhaust with headers. This is a Great Running / Great sounding Combination.
The K member was removed and all of the suspension rubber parts shocks and ball joints were replaced and the Disk / drum brakes were refreshed. We also added a Sanden Compressor to the cold blowing Original A/C system.
The 72 Rides on 15” Rallie wheels with new tires ( a bit over 500 miles ) . This is a Great driving Head turning car, Bid with confidence . Feel free to stop by and drive the 72.
