Plymouth (((LOOK))) 1938 Description
Plans changed again... Here we have a fantastic opportunity to bring her back original or create your hot rod dream. These old girls are getting hard to find in useable condition! This is a really complete start all the way down to the original 1938 "Repairer" license plate and the only thing I know that is missing are the running boards. There are many parts that will sell with this car that have not been photographed such as the motor, trans, radiator and bumpers etc. There are many extra parts that will be included in the sale as well. If you are concerned about an item you do not see just ask. Rust in the normal spots, trunk pan, floor pans, rear valance and trunk lid lower lip but nothing too serious as the photos should attest. The front clip has been chemically striped and the metal is in very good conditon as shown in photos... The car is located in N Georgia and a Bill of Sale will be provided upon full payment. This car to be sold as is where is with no warranty or guarantee implied. Given her age I am sure you will understand. There are many "pieces" included in this sale, please bring the appropriate equipment (i.e. Engine hoist, winch, trailer etc). to get her loaded up to travel. So the back story goes like this...The guy I bought it from in 2006 drove the car in college in the 70's. After he graduated he decided to take it apart and refinish it. 27 years later him and his wife were moving and she told him it was not coming... While he did indicate to me and I believed him that the motor and radiator had been redone it has been almost 40 years so I am pretty sure the motor will need attention but believe the radiator to be ready to go... I do not believe there will be any disappointments here... A great project...
