Plymouth Satellite 1970 Description
This is one of the most unique Mopars available. Anyone can buy a Roadrunner, GTX, even a Hemi car. They seem to be a dime a dozen. I have never seen another 1970 Sport Satellite configured like this for sale. I am reluctant to list this car. I know another will not be located. I was informed only 26 of these cars were built but cannot verify. I provided the required info to do your homework. This is a special Plymouth Executive model ordered by E.F. Franks and was built on the last day of production. 7-15-1970. It was a factory field car and spent the majority of it's life in California. This Satellite has a factory numbers matching 383HP motor with Air Conditioning and is backed by it's A833 four speed with pistol grip shifter, 8 3/4 open rear. I am confident the motor has never been removed from this car. It starts easily, idles down and does not smoke. The car has power drum brakes and steering. The interior is legendary, white in color and is in excellent condition. It sports a white vinyl top. The paint is driver quality at best. The body is excellent. The undercarriage is beautiful and untouched. Every panel including the trunk is original and uncut. There were a few pin holes in the lowest portion of the trunk and was touched up with seam sealer. There is a small repaired dent at the body line behind the drivers side rear wheel. The AC is all there but not functioning. The heater/AC box under the dash was just rebuilt including new core. Front suspension control arms do require new bushings. New exhaust. I just replaced the ignition switch as the original was stiff to turn. Clutch linkage rebuilt as well. There is a factory in-dash tach that was added. I also replaced the AC/Heater control to be safe. I have the original build sheet, window sticker, and lots more documentation verifying this car. Shipping arrangements to be made by the purchaser/winning bidder. Please have the funds available BEFORE you bid. This car is sold as is, as shown, without any warranty implied. Please remember this is a 47 year old car. It is unrestored with the exception of paint. Car is sold with a Bill of Sale and a copy of my current registration. Titles are not required in the State of New Hamphshire for vehicles over 20 years old.
