Take a look at this original 1941 Plymouth Coupe brought to you by Caruso Classic Cars. This is a running and driving piece of history. The car is complete and makes a great driver!
Engine Description – The motor is an original flathead 6 that runs and drives. The car has been upgraded with an electric fuel pump so it always starts right up. The car has been converted to 12v.
Transmission – The transmission is the original 3 on the column which shifts as it should.
Interior & Options– Interior consists of the stock tan cloth bench on rubber floor mats. The headliner is a dark brown and is in nice shape. The trunk has no rot and is all original. Being a business coupe, his has the extra-long trunk that extends into the cabin. The car has the original radio and comes with a couple extras.
Exterior & Options– The exterior consists of a cream colored paint job with some flaws. Right side has a small dent on the side of the door panel. The running boards are starting to rust where the rubber was installed. All chrome is original and intact. The driver’s side window is cracked and needs to be replace.
Brakes & Suspension- The car has new stock breaks and new tires. The suspension is all stock.
Undercarriage – The underside is in nice shape with surface rust but no rot. The car has a stock single exhaust pipe. The gas tank has been replaced.
How does car Run- The car runs and drives as it should and would make a nice weekend driver.
History – The current owner has had the car for 21 years and is believed to be the second owner.
