Plymouth Other 1960 Description
Up for your consideration is a 1960 Valiant. The Valiant is most commonly known as the "Plymouth" Valiant. However, or historical accuracy, or a short time only the Valiant was a stand-alone line in 1960 until the Chrysler Corporation transferred the Valiant to Plymouth. Afterwards, the model became known as the "Plymouth Valiant." Therefore, he 1960 "Valiant" is a rather rare model for collectors. This car is a true survivor. The body is incredibly solid. Shortly after being purchased the body was treated with a chemical rust prevention very similar to Z-Bart. Only rust present is in the front fenders and rear weatherstrip area on trunk opening lip (see pics). Floors, loor braces, nner rockers, uter rockers, nner quarters, uter quarters, runk floor and so on are solid as new. Ive been around classic cars my entire life and you hardly ever see one of these let alone one this solid. Slant six runs smooth and quiet. Previous owner did a complete tune up and installed MSD ignition. New wheel cylinders and brakes installed. Transmission shifts as it should but needs a new front seal. I would seriously recommend replacing this seal before it is seriously driven. Vehicle will need to be towed but will be able to pull itself on the trailer and show how well the push button drive works and shifts. I drove this car an hour and a half to my shop to list it and it ran great, nly had to stop to add trans fluid. Car is fitted with newer radial tires on original 60s Cragars. Car comes with original documentation including window sticker, ales receipt, nd registration (see pics). Aftermarket under dash A/C is there, ompressor and condenser are off put go with car. Please ask any questions. Thanks Colby 276-393-3347
